Let's Dance
Here is some additional information for you new dancers.

Arrive early to check in at the front desk on the West side of the building so you will be on time to begin your class. Drop-ins are $5 at the door or you can buy a FOB (punch card) It costs $45 for 10 classes saving you $.50 per class. They don't expire if you miss a class.

Bring a bottle of water with a lid to class and some ankle socks to cover the front of your shoes for easy turning.

At the beginning of each month we will learn new or review dances all month. Additional dances will be added as time permits.

To review dances, go to Copperknob.co.uk to search for specific dances that you have learned. Just type the title of the dance in the Key Word section. Links to the possible monthly dances are on this website.

On February 9, 2023 the first Beginner class was taught at the
Lenexa Community Center. Since then, the students wanted to move to
the next level called Improver. This class still starts at 1:15 on Thursdays.

Our New Beginner class began March 6, 2025. The activity center was renovated and now is called the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center.
The Beginner class starts at 2:30 on Thursdays. Basic steps are taught
at an absolute beginner level.
